The biggest and baddest ag items sold last year

In 2020, Ritchie Bros. experienced record-high demand, with all auctions 100% online since mid-March. Due to COVID-19, most of our on-farm auctions were conducted via Timed Auction, resulting in strong pricing for most equipment categories. Here are some agriculture sales highlights from the past year:

Unused 2018 Vaderstad Seed Hawk 84-ft air drill – CA$575,000 (US$449,000+)

This unused 2018 Vaderstad Seed Hawk 84-ft air drill (Lot 140) sold for CA$575,000 (US$449,000+) during the two-day Saskatoon, SK auction in December. It was purchased by an online buyer from Alberta.

2019 John Deere 9570RX Quadtrac tractor – US$420,000

Six months earlier, we sold this 2019 John Deere 9570RX Quadtrac tractor (Lot 96) in our June Fort Worth, TX auction for US$420,000.

2018 Claas Lexion 780TT combine – CA$560,000 (US$412,000+)

During our summer Saskatoon auction in July, we sold three 2018 Claas Lexion 780TT combines for CA$560,000 (US$412,00+) each.

2019 John Deere 9620RX track tractor – CA$585,000 (US$403,000+)

Back in the spring we conducted an auction in Regina, selling this 2019 John Deere 9260RX track tractor (Lot 103) for CA$585,000.

2019 John Deere S790 combine – CA$575,000 (US$396,000+)

In the same spring Regina auction, we also sold three 2019 John Deere S790 combines (Lot 110 – 112) for CA$575,000 each.

2018 MTS 3630T MFWD tractor – US$355,000

Sold through our Marketplace-E platform, this 2018 MTS 3630T MFWD tractor was sold in October for US$355,000.

2016 Case IH 9240 combine – US$264,000+

This 2016 Case IH 9240 combine was also sold through Marketplace-E. It sold for more than US$264,000.

2018 John Deere 9520R 4WD tractor – US$203,000+

During a weekly IronPlanet auction in early December, we sold this 2018 John Deere 9520R 4WD tractor for more than US$203,000.

2014 Case IH Patriot 4430 sprayer – US$203,000+

In the very same IronPlanet auction in early December, we also sold this 2014 Case IH Patriot 4430 sprayer for US$203,000+.

2014 Claas Lexion 760 combine – US$151,000

Back in March, we sold this 2014 Claas Lexion 760 combine through our weekly IronPlanet auction for US$151,000.
